Wolf Bane is a monster hunter.  
During his lifetime, he has killed many of them: changelings, vampires, witches, undeads (ghosts and living deads), even wereponies.  
Those like him.
 
In fact, Wolf Bane is the fourth generation of wereponies.  
His great-great-great-great-grandfather was the first to acquire the curse, then passed on to his children and his grandchildren .
 
To control the Were transformation, Wolf Bane inherited a Real Moonstone, a gemstone able to maintain his logic will.  
In addition, thanks to the gem, he can turn at will, even in daylight, into the beast he is.
 
But he must be careful: The Crimson moon can make him regress to a beast.
