This is Tooty Fruity, companion to Crystal Eclair.
 
Tooty Fruity is a Pegasus stallion and a Dashite. I know some may think I’m copying Calamity but I assure you I am not. Fruity was a civilian, not a soldier and he was cast out of the clouds for repeatedly going against Enclave Law after being warned twice.
 
Fruity was a Bar Tender at a cocktail bar and was very good at mixing drinks for cocktails as his cutie mark before being branded represented his mixing talent. He got curious about a fruit a couple of Enclave Soldiers talked about called Mutfruit and going against his better judgement went down to the surface where he learned from the soldiers there was some growing. He grew to like the fruit despite its unsightly appearance and as he didn’t feel any negative effects from consuming it, started to use it as a secret ingredient for one of is cocktails. Unfortunately he got found out, warned and fined but his love for the fruit made him go down for more to which he got caught again some time later and was slapped with an even bigger fine and a harsher warning. Upon the third time the Enclave had enough and cast him out as a Dashite.
 
Fruity spent five years in the wasteland, using what he learned from the soldiers that often talked about their excursions to the surface to help him survive and he had the good fortune to find an operational battlesaddle with Mark 1 Plasma Rifles in them.
 
He rescued Crystal from a small group of Raiders who were about to likely gang rape her before murdering her by dissolving the lead pony with the last shot of his plasma rifles. He believed Crystal to be a zebra fresh out of a stable as she was wearing stable barding and had a pipbuck and he decided he couldn’t let her go into the wasteland alone so he offered to accompany her and help her.
 
(If you haven’t read Influx and want to know why Crystal looked like a stable dweller, she was helped by a wasteland doctor who suggest she wear a spare suit he had lying around and gave her a pipbuck as he said they belonged to a stable dweller he wasn’t able to save and wearing those items might lessen the distrust and hate she might receive because she’s a zebra)
