Personality: Hot Shot is extremely cocky and arrogant, always trying to show off and prove he is the best. Oddly enough he doesn’t care about winning, only being the center of attention and if winning is the way to get there then so be it. Despite this attitude, he cares deeply for his family and friends and will do anything to protect them (namely Colordrop and Quickfire)
 
History: Hot Shot was second born in Cloudsdale and spent a few years of his life there, they moved to Canterlot because of his mother and his big brother, who originaly lived there. One day Hot Shot met Crystal Lotus when she got stuck in a tree outside his house, he got her out and they became friends. They were hanging out one day when they found Colordrop being tormented by Sweetheart, Hot Shot stepped in to stop it and instantly became friends with Colordrop.  
One day Hot Shot was outside, practicing his flying at night when he saw a falling star that surprised him into falling out of a high tree. He began panicking and was convinced he was going to die when he started flapping his wings hard and began flying extremely fast, faster then he had ever had before, he realized when he was flying there were flames around him, when he stoppped he had earned his Cutie Mark.  
Not long after when he was slightly older he went into a school in Cloudsdale and continued going there for the rest of school years. Over that time his mother had another kid, Hot Shot’s little sister Quickfire, a few months after his mother passed away, his father was over taken with grief and could barely support the family. Hot Shot’s aunt on his father’s side, Spitfire, would help them out until Hot Shot could take care of Quickfire himself.  
When he found out Colordrop left he was upset and did his best to find her, when he found her in Ponyville he went to visit her, after he left he realized he was in love with her and he keeps trying to convince her that. After many years, Colordrop finally agreed to go out with him and few years later, Hot Shot proposed.</i>
