New features this week:
>Client side motion prediction. This should eliminate nearly all visible lag when moving around.
>New world generation code. The only visible change so far is the addition of lakes, but the new code will make it much easier to add caves, mountains, etc, later on.
>Added offline config editor with shortcuts for important options: http://play.everfree-outpost.com/configedit.html
>Bug fix: Browser crashes and internet outages no longer cause you to be locked out of your account.
>Added debounce_time config setting to fix spam problems with some Android gamepads.
The eventual goal is for this to play sort of like a cross between Minecraft and Golden Sun. It will be based partly on crafting and building things to expand the town, and partly on exploring the forest and solving Golden Sun-style puzzle-based dungeons for rare items and crafting materials.
