Hey look. A back story.
 
alternate title “The Truth About Okiedoodle” that was the name of the file…. but I thought this one would fit the title of the poll I made about this……
 
 
man, posting this JUST before midnight (texas time XDD) but hey, I just got off work…….. so tiiiiirrrrreeeedddd and I gotta wake up early tomorrow too…………. dang it
 

 
so the secret is….. she’s half changeling……..  
this actually fits me in a lot of ways…… I’m not going to go into it here, but I’d been thinking about this for a LONG time….. almost as long as I’ve liked MLP, but then recently (a few months after making my ponysona) I realized some things that for me were just random, but add up to her being part changeling….. not fully though, since my ponysona (as well as I) have major differences…..
 
I talked to mom about it (since I feel I needed her consent to design a ponysona, especially making her a changeling) and she said she agreed, that there are a lot of reasons why she would be one…… she changes her appearence a lot (new hair styles, and hair dying, different make up, and the different changes in her wardrobe…..) and she’s often deceptive with her thoughts and actions….. and one thing we BOTH have in common, is that we feel energy from positive people…. me I don’t even have to be talking to them, but when I’m near someone who’s happy and caring, we feel better…… I know this is probably a common thing…. but heck, I don’t care, I find it interesting……
 
now, as for a bit of info on okie’s parents…….. her dad is a unicorn from baltimare, he liked working on motor vehicles and is named “engine block” but prefers to go by “block” or “blocks”……. her mom, on the other hand-er, hoof….. goes by the pony name “yarn hooks” but goes by “yarnie” or “yaya”(by okie only) she was banished from her hive (no, not chrysalis’s) several years ago, and up until meeting engine block, was living off of residual love (which isn’t much, so she was basically slowly starving to death)
 
then they met, yarnie was starving, and noticed a single stallion, she was taking a risk, since she didn’t have a loved one to imitate, AND if she failed, then she didn’t have the protection of her hive…. but she was desperate, so she started talking to, and charming him. it worked, and soon block was smitten. which fed yarnie, and soon she realized that she actually liked this young stallion, then eventually, she fell for him back. feeding off his love energy became hard for her, she felt bad for keeping this hidden from him….. to the point where she blew her cover and confessed. but, as you can see in this comic, his love for her was stronger than that…….
 
the rest is history, they got married, and had okiedoodle…. BUT they wouldn’t let her play outside and with other colts and fillies until she could control her changing powers, and eventually, at both her parent’s insistence, she moved down to the town of ponyville…….. where we first met her XDDDDDD
