Lieutenant Star Catcher became one of the most well-respected soldiers in the Pegasi tribe through years of hard work and loyal dedication. She was best known for being able to function as both a skilled, hardened warrior, and a gentle, maternal support, switching and giving a bit of each to individuals as needed. Originally part of the influential inner circle of Commander Hurricane’s predecessor, she continues to be a valued mentor, political advisor, and elder sister/aunt figure to Hurricane. While she continues to sometimes serve out in the field, Star Catcher mainly assists in training Privates (such as Pansy), using both her gentle and stern sides to help them achieve their inner strength and became great warriors. When Commander Hurricane and Private Pansy left the tribe in search of new land, she was one of (if not the main) ponies in charge of the Pegasi tribe in his absence.
 
While wary of and sometimes frusrated with the other pony tribes, she didn’t hold the same heavy hate that some others did. Upon the founding of Equestria, she wound up befriending a young Earth pony mare named Sky Wishes, who became her lifelong greatest companion and best friend.
