Candy: Thanks! goes over to Fletcher and begins wrapping his hand Well, Fletcher, like I was saying, it’s just a matter of trying different things! As someone who has done many many different jobs I know more than anyone else that there are gonna be plenty things you’re bad at and plenty things you’re good at as well!
 
Fletcher: But what if I don’t find something? And being a guard doesn’t work out. What will I do then? Just make arrows for the rest of my life? That just scares me.
 
Candy: That could scare anyone. But hey, in the event that you don’t find something you’re not good at and don’t get into the guard, which is very unlikely, you’ll always have a ton of other things going for you
 
Fletcher: Like what?
 
Starburst: You’re kind, and athletic and….. handsome
 
Candy: Yeah! Kindness can go a long way y’know. So can a kind face. Plus being athletic puts hand on his shoulder and having such a……. toned……muscular body………… Man you are solid! pokes his muscles Anyways, you could totally be a a professional athlete

Starburst: Um….. yeah…. I guess there’s that? Probably shouldn’t be you’re first choice though.

Starburst: And you for sure won’t have to be a stripper
 
Candy: But you wouldn’t mind that now would you?

Trying to make Fletcher more interesting. I thought it’d be pretty great if he was (or at least thought he was) a one trick pony. That was something I struggled with for a while (and I feel like I’m not the only one). I thought that the only thing I might be good at was drawing. And that worried me because if I didn’t make it as an artist, I had no idea what I would be.
