Claire: Not in the mood Illusion.
Illusion: Hey, just trying to lighten the mood. What’s wrong?
Claire: I don’t wanna talk about it.
Illusion: Please tell me
Claire: Illusion, I said
Illusion: Pleaaaaaase? puppy eyes
Claire: ………………….. I guess I’m…….. I’m just tired of being different.
Illusion: Haven’t we gone over this before? Being weird is great. There’s nothing wrong with it.
Claire: You don’t understand. Whenever you’re out in public you can change. You can be normal. I’m stuck like this.
Illusion: The only reason I do that is so I can hang out with you and our friends in peace. If everypony saw that “the prince” was hanging out in Ponyville, they’d crowd us and never leave us alone. If I wasn’t the prince, I’d be in the same exact situation as you are.
Claire: ………
Illusion: The upside to your situation is that you know who your real friends are. And you have great friends and me. What more could you ask for?
Claire: I suppose you’re right. But still, I don’t like getting looks.
Illusion: Have you ever thought that maybe they’re looking at you because you’re gorgeous?
Claire: No. Because that’s highly unlikely.
Illusion: Hey, it’s why I look at you! And that rainbow-headed friend of yours appearantly.
Claire: giggles
Illusion: Seriously though, yes, we are weird and different but above all, we’re a sign of unity and peace. A unity of different creatures who were thought to despise each other. That’s pretty special if you ask me.
Claire: When did you get so philosophical?
Illusion: Oh, I’ve always been like that. It’s far to boring and serious to be like that all the time. No fun.
Claire: I should’ve known.
Illusion: It’s great for winning arguments and making you feel better.
Claire: Why do you have to be so sweet?
Illusion: So you’ll keep me around.
Claire: You’re so corny it’s disgusting.
Illusion: Yet you still love me. Guess I’m just that irresistible.
Claire: Guess so
