Description

Artist’s Note:
Collaboration with full
I’ve not done a collaboration with another artist in forever (it’s been so long I doubt I’ve ever done one to begin with). Working on a picture where the line art is already set has been a really refreshing and eye-opening experience, and I feel quite proud about the end result. This was a great opportunity to find out how my coloring and my shading fair on their own, when the line art isn’t mine.
The result: I think I’ve found my artwork’s weakness. It’s the line art, not the shading. Remember those days when I was shading colors with black, and all the drawings looked like they had been rescued from an oil leak caused by BP? I remember them, and they were a bleak time to live in. Well, I’m happy to say those days are long gone. Long live the shading with colors!
