“After realizing I had thrown away the patterns from my first EQG cosplay (I didn’t think I would need them, and they were threatening to take over my sewing space), I had to start from scratch again. I also had to figure out how to cover the headbands w/the blue fabric while keeping them usable as headbands; it was an educational week, to say the least. Major props out to those who do costuming & cosplay; figuring out this stuff isn’t that easy!
 
I am super pleased w/the how the ears turned out; I was able to get 5 sets of them done, and get the rest of the headbands covered to boot. Yay! I also started working on my tail pattern, but I am less than pleased with it; back to the drawing board…I worked on improving the Velcro clasp so it would be sturdier, and I think I found a good solution. :D Hopefully everyone’s beltloops are the same height…
