Going grocery shopping with her guardian in the heart of Marzipan City, Florentine helps Gazpacho look for fruit while he tends to some business among one of the stands.
 
She finds the last orange on sale, and before she can get it, a red claw snatches it, immediately leaving her pissed. Hey! She says before looking up and sees a teenage red dragon; shes quite surprised to actually find some dragon in Marzipan City, knowing immediately that he seemed Equestrian.
 
She gets tough, hissing at the red teen dragon that looks down at her in amusement as she demands her orange back. However, the red dragon simply plays around with the fruit, showing off a few tricks with it by throwing it in the air and able to catch it in his tail as well as spin it around on the tip of his finger.
 
By now, Florentines temper has died down and she becomes quite impressed by his skills. In fact, shes quite impressed by his tough attitude that matches her and he even tells her of all the rough things he and his dragon friends do back in Equestria when they had migrated, and she even becomes interested in what he refers to as a belching contest(considering she likes to belch ).
 
Before she can even ask the red dragon his name, Gazpacho, whos been watching closely at the red dragon, immediately takes her hand and drags her away, scared the red dragon, whom he thinks seems to be a total monster, might draw Florentine to some dark side and she could get herself hurt.
 
Even though Twilight Sparkle and the other ponies never told him about the Great Dragon Migration or Spike having tried to find his identity and in the end learned a valuable lesson or what this red dragon had been involved with for the past few days, Gazpacho can immediately tell what a bad dragon this red one is and doesnt want Florentine to be near him.
 
Florentine, though deep down mad at Gazpacho for ruining her fun and preventing her from asking the red dragon his name, is more hurt and disappointed as she is being dragged away from him. As the red dragon shrugs it aside and takes off in the opposite direction, Florentine wonders if shell ever see him again and all his coolness”
