Turtle is probably the most famous for coming out of two earth ponies relationship a pegasus. Big Mac had large doubts that Marble Pie was loyal, even though she was just as confused as her husband to why their daughter - their third, to be exact - was a pegasus. Only when Cloudy Quartz saw her granddaughter and remarked that she had the wings of her great-grandpapa did their daughter’s feathers make sense. Cloudy was thanked many times over for clearing the issue, and needless to say Marble was introduced to her grandpapa via many photos.
 
Dove is a sweet filly who has a love for nature and the many kinds of birds. She has a beautiful voice and has done many collaborations on vocal-switching songs with her brother, Boulderdash. She’s not naive, but not very good at thinking with her brains, and normally relies on her gut feeling and emotions to guide the way (doesn’t always work out the best). She actually really loves to fly competitively, but she’s actually super frail and weak so Marble and Big Mac restrict her from doing such.
 
When Dove was only five, a huge house fire broke out as a result of Marble being so tired with her three foals and another on the way that she forgot to blow out a candle next to the curtains. Turtle was sleeping blissfully unaware of the raging fire as Marble and Big Mac evacuated all their children out of the house. Unfortunately, Dove’s room was unreachable via inside door because of the fire. Big Mac wasn’t fast enough to get in the window, and Dove was severely burned after waking up and wailing, opening the door only for her face to be thrashed with searing hot pain. She’s very self-conscious about her burns, and her only one good eye, and that’s the reason she prefers to have her hair covering her face, even though her parents assure her everypony has their flaws. However, that doesn’t stop Turtle from covering her face from the outside world and preferring to let ponies be captivated by her voice, not her beauty.

Facts:  
Turtle is allergic to peanuts  
She adores unicorns (this later makes her friends with Autumn Brew, who Cherry Tart introduced her sister to)  
She freaked her parents out and was “bedridden” for a month when she broke her wing. (It was actually a minor crack and only had to heal for a week or two, so she could still walk around and play, just no flying)  
Dove’s extremely protective of the black sheep of the family - Boulder - and hopes that one day he’ll have the courage to come up and come out.
