I wanted to draw something cute, so I did a quick drawing of a baby Zap Apple and Applejack.
 
As a newborn, Zap was a menace when it came to falling asleep, and would keep her parents up by randomly crying only to stop when they checked on her. Applejack guessed that it was because she was missing them, and couln’t see where they were. So out of desparation for a few hours of uninterrupted sleep, Applejack just Zap in her hat, hoping that the scent would keep her calm. And it worked! Peaceful, blessed sleep…
 
…until morning, when Applejack tried to take her hat back. Zap did not approve.
 

 
As and adult, Zap likes to borrow one of Applejacks hats every now and again to help keep the sun out of her eyes. Not often, since it can interfere with her headband that controls the prosthetic leg, but it’s helpful when just standing around in the sun, like on market days. Although, for reasons she can’t figure out, she always seems to get slightly sleepy when she does….
