Personality: Sour Apple, unlike his mother, isn’t a hard worker. He’s very lethargic and get’s bored easily. Not to mention he seems tired all the time. But there are moments when he does put his hoof down and raises his voice. Though when he does, it’s usually a scary thing. He doesn’t do it often, but when he does, that’s when everypony knows he’s angry. Though he does share Applejack’s stubborn streak, which often leads to them butting heads over petty things.
Sour Apple takes after his father, the only thing of Apple Jack he was born with was his eye colour. This upsets him greatly, for he dislikes his father with a burning passion. Caesar wasn’t the best of fathers, choosing to leave the Apple Farm right after Sour Apple’s sister was born. This left Sour Apple to help raise his sister and take care of the Apple Farm. Whenever his father is brought up in conversation, Sour Apple always turns bitter and tends to get upset far more easily.
Sour Apple was very short in Kinder, but the moment he entered High School he shot up in height. His own height rivaled his uncle Big Mac only after a year of starting High School. At home he helped Apple Jack with the farm, though he disliked almost every bit of it. He wasn’t good with bucking apples or making jam. This obviously frustrated him because his mother was so good at it. Sour Apple felt as if he wasn’t fit to be an “apple”. However, when he found his special talent and earned his cutie mark, he finally felt as if he was important and valuable.
