We’re getting deep into frantic shopping season now as the Season 8.5 Holiday Gifts continue! After Fluttershy’s debacle with the Flim Flam Brothers, her friends thought it best she figure out some sort of system to prevent her naive innocence from costing her important things like money for food and train rides. By merely putting a rabbit inside her wallet, now her finances are more protected than ever, for a small(ish) monthly fee of easily grown carrots!
 
I do like Angel as a character. He’s such a jerk to everyone, but at the same time he does care about Fluttershy. I imagine he has several moments like this, keeping his source of food out of harm’s way caused by her own innocent worldview. It could be worse; I once lost a bunch of money to an IRS phone scammer, so at least Fluttershy isn’t as dumb as I am.
 
…I dunno why Fluttershy was so prominent in 3 out of these 7 comics. Just kinda happened that way.
