Artist’s Note:
A sort-of sequel to Whatchya Reading? Started out as just a posing experiment and grew from there, as many things do with me.For once, Sweetie isn’t being tortured! And hey, I even remembered Silver’s ponytail! Today is good day.It was always a challenge to drag Silver away from whatever “secret spot” she had chosen that day, but Sweetie Belle had her ways. It was almost a tradition at this point. Still, with a little pushing - sometimes literal - she could coax Silver out.Today it was easy. As Silver had hid up in the slide tower, Sweetie’s job meant nothing more than getting her to put the book down and do something. That’s not to say there wasn’t a challenge here, but Silver wasn’t known for her willpower, and in less than a minute, the pair were sliding down the slides, swinging on the swings, and see-sawing on the see-saw. Such was the joy of Silver’s private playground. Being a rich kid definitely had it’s perks. They eventually made their way to the monkey bars, each climbing up a different end. As she reached the last step, Sweetie had an idea.“Silvy! Watch this!”Taking a firm grip on the farthest bar she could reach, Sweetie curled her legs and swung up with all her might, hooking her knees on another bar. She hung there, giggling at the new perspective on the world and the blood rushing to her head. Silver took the cue and grabbed a bar herself, hooking her own legs on a bark, though her hands slipped and she let go. Sweetie started snickering, and her lips started to curl into a smile.“Hey, um, Silver? Is yellow your favorite color?”Silver raised an eyebrow at that.“I guess. Why?”Then she looked down.
