“Wait. Seriously? Then how do you explain this?” Rainbow exclaimed as she prodded her belly fat. “I’m no doctor, but I’m pretty sure that suddenly gaining 30 pounds in a week should be considered something serious.”
“I understand you’re concerned, along with the rest of the school. But with every case I’ve seen so far, the increased appetites and the slower metabolisms don’t seem to be causing any harm to anyone infected. At worst, it’s just an inconvenience having to shop for new clothes,” Nurse Redheart giggled at her own joke, though her smile disappears quickly as she looked down at her own body.
Rainbow simply sighed. “So, is there anything I can do for now?”
“Well, if you’re still concerned, you can talk to any doctor at the local clinic, though I’m afraid they may give you the same results. In the meantime, I’d recommend avoiding any fatty foods and drinks, and to keep yourself active.”
Rainbow’s stomach suddenly growls hungrily, waiting to be fed. “I’ll try my best.”
