Description

So, for those unfamiliar with the terminology, a “moon” is the time it takes for the moon to go from Full to Full again, or from New to New again. So that got me to thinking about the Equestrian Calendar: It seems to be at least somewhat Lunisolar, but how so? Is it like the Hebrew Calendar, where the months remain the same, but cycle? I.E. would Equestrian January start in Winter, but as the years pass might be in spring, summer, fall, or eventually winter again? How many days are in an Equestrian Year? In an Equestrian Month (Moon)? How many moons are there in a year? How long is the Equestrian Day?

Of course, if this just seems a tremendous waste of your time, by all means, downvote and move on.
Cheers!
