My version of their parents :) I needed to create them for my future comic. I hope the names are alright.
 
Info : I have to make Ardent a unicorn! I totally forgot! And I’ll change the dollar symbol on his cutie mark to coins bc there are no dollars in equestria derp :p
 
Serene Melody  
She can be very strict but she’s also very caring and a good mother. She’s cares a lot about the future of her daughter and that’s why it sometimes seems like she’s pushing Octavia a bit too hard as a teenager. She loves harmonic melodies from various instruments and she’s very good at playing the flute.
 
Dulcet Sound  
He works a lot. He’s a known pianist and often comes home very late. He doesn’t have much time for the family but when he does he makes sure they have a funny time. Just as her mother he wants Octavia to become famous. Because of his work they moved a lot in her teenager years, so Octavia had to changed cities and friends a lot.
 
Charmy Ambience  
She’s very relaxed and often happy. She loves to play music in the nature, mostly drums. She supports her daughter even though she doesn’t like dubstep or electronic music too much. She’s loving, friendly and pretty funny.
 
Ardent Scratch  
Viny’ls father owns a guitar shop and his guitars are very popular. People from everywhere in Equestria come to buy them. He supports his daughter as well, of course, with the money he earns he tries to buy the expensive electronic stuff Vinyl needs to create her music. He’s a good businessman and very honest and caring.
