All artists worth their talent greatly appreciates constructive criticism. But when the criticism turns into personal attacks, or insults the show they enjoy, that is not helping anyone to improve the work.
 
If you dislike/downvote an image is it because:
 
You personally don’t like the show? The fanbase? The storyline? The artist’s concept of it? Anatomy? Style?
 
Can one give an honest unbiased comment on artwork due to merit rather than opinion?
 
Not completely sure if the voting system is really fair accessment (maybe because as an artist, I truly like to know what fans like about the concept and open for things to improve on). Anon votes or negative comments doesn’t benefit anyone and just give an impression that downvotes are from haters and not participators. Think I might be done posting my own work at this site for awhile and just post at my tumblr/DA. Some things I need to consider about fanbases in general.
