“WELL, It’s been awhile…. Sorry for the UBER long pause. Long ago I uploaded an early unfinished version of this piece that was labeled as a “WIP”. Well now I can finally present to you the finished product! This apple pie has been sittin’ on the windowsill longer than Granny Smith’s been alive an’ kickin’! So anyways to explain a bit about the piece itself, I wanted to present a somewhat realistic interpretation of Applejack as a human while still keeping a clear resemblance to her pony design. I drew her as a strong and confident young woman. Her skin has naturally tanned due to working in the sun, but this is also a way to further make her resemble her pony design which has similarly colored fur. Her sun bleached blonde hair also resembles her pony mane. I didn’t go to fancy with her hat as I tried to make it accurate to her pony design. Her outfit it fairly simple and keeps the orange vibe going from her original color scheme. I also added her tri-apple cutie mark on her belt and of course she’s holding a rope to lasso up some hay bales and send them flying, Yeehaaaw!! Over all I’m happy with how it turned out. Given that this was originally an older artwork, there are already many things I would have now tried to improve on, especially considering I didn’t have my tablet at the time (Yay for my awesome new tablet!!!), but all in all I think it turned out well! I hope to post more humanizations of the mane six in the future, but I can’t guarantee they will all be quite as detailed as this because this one took me way too long…. I think I’ve fainted. “
