“Took a “quick” break from the art I still owe to make this. I thought this was going to be a quick weekend project. Turns out acrylic paint doesn’t stick to the finished outer surface of the speakers. So after getting some of the way through and realizing this, I had to take an exacto knife and cut away the outer coating to expose the particle board. Then I covered that in acrylic sealant and started over.
 
~25-30 hours total, but totally worth it. I’m going to put Octavia on the other speaker cabinet at some point. For now, though, I’m sick of hunching over a speaker cabinet :D
