At the end of another day of classes at Canterlot High, Rarity is making her way to the school’s music room to do some keytar practice when she is suddenly approached by a rather excited Pinkie Pie. The pink-haired girl then gleefully explains that she is learning hypnosis in her psychology class that day and actually managed to hypnotize one of her classmates as part of an assignment, which Rarity congratulates her one. Pinkie then goes on to say that the experience was so exciting, that she’s been itching to do it again and kindly asks Rarity if she could hypnotize her for just a little bit. Rarity agrees to her friend’s request, but as Pinkie starts to swing a gold pocket watch in front of her eyes, the fashionista claims that it may not work as she considers herself too strong-willed to be hypnotized. However, after a 10-minute or so induction, Rarity has fallen into a deep hypnotic trance, her wonderful mind now blank and open to her friend’s every suggestion. Seeing that she now has her friend under her control, Pinkie tells Rarity that from now on, she is Canterlot High’s most enthusiastic cheerleader who constantly sports a big grin. The party girl also adds that when Rarity wakes up, she will want to kick off her shoes and perform a cheer routine about how Pinkie is the best friend in the world. Once the hypnotized fashionista agrees to her new conditioning, Pinkie stows the watch in her pocket and snaps her fingers to awaken Rarity from her trance….
Upon hearing Pinkie snap her fingers, Rarity (her lips now pulled into a large enthusiastic grin) quickly kicks off her high heels (leaving her barefoot on the tiled floors of the hallway) and immediately breaks into a cheer routine based around how Pinkie is the greatest friend in the entire universe, ending her performance by doing the splits. After giving a brief round of applause, Pinkie commends her purple-haired friend on her spectacular performance as she helps her back to her feet. After giving the pink-haired girl a very gleeful ‘thank you’, the fashionista-turned-cheerleader says that she has to head off to get some more practice in before the big football game next week and soon starts skipping down the hall towards the soccer field, not seeming to care that she still in her bare feet. Meanwhile, Pinkie just watches her friend head off on her way, wondering what the rest of the Rainbooms will think of Rarity’s new attitude……
