Headcanon time, guys.

Celestia missed her sister so much, that sometimes, when she saw something or somebody reminding of her little sister, she fell into a memory trance - she saw the events which were very dear to her in a very realistic way - she, like, relived them again. While those trances her eyes were glowing blue.
