This is probably gonna be my favorite concept in this whole arc for a while. The School of “Friendship.”

Because hey, you need to have the skills of an adventurer to have a decent chance of making friends out of enemies in this world.

Sandbar (AJ): Let’s agree to be who we want to be. But, uh, what kind of life are we leading at this School of Friendship anyway?
Gallus (RD): Taking classes on how to “hug it out,” I’m betting.
DM: Well, ultimately, the goal of this school is to make “friendship ambassadors” that can spread its teachings across the world. There are friendship lessons, yes. But there are also lectures on how the magic of friendship interacts with all kinds of other power sources. There’s a comprehensive physical education and self-defense curriculum. This includes lessons on teamwork in combat and small-squad tactics. There are courses focused on more mental aspects – how to keep spirits up, how to properly process sadness, how to spot small details that tell you about a person. The study of animals and beasts both natural and beyond is covered, so that the students can better handle whatever they may face. There are lessons dedicated to the arts of persuasion, as well as even intimidation and deception, should the need arise. And there are even practical lessons on how to market your talents wherever you go. Plus how best to trade, haggle, and divvy up “income.”
Sandbar (AJ): Wait a sec. This isn’t a “friendship ambassador” school… This is an adventuring school!!
DM: Same diff.
