I was going to write something here, perhaps about the daunting challenge of writing a justification for how gosh-darn smug Fluttershy is through this entire second part… but the seasonal bug is upon me at time of uploading and I can’t think of anything. Blarg.

Rainbow Dash: Fluttershy??
Applejack: Eeyup. Same Fluttershy she’s always been.
Fluttershy: For an “action girl,” I don’t think we’re seeing a whole lot of action.
Pinkie Pie: Intimidation is an action, Shy. It’s in the rulebook and everything.
Fluttershy: I’m just saying the “real” Pinkie would’ve countered Discord’s antics with one of her own. A party cannon, an enchanted limerick, you name it.
Twilight Sparkle: Umm, girls? How is this helping with… well, finding the Elements, breaking the curses – anything, really?
Fluttershy: I AM trying to fight the curses. If my filter’s gone, I might as well try to poke at the facades. Well, Pinkie? Have I given you something to think about?
