DM: There is but one eligible royal bachelor in Equestria: Prince Blueblood. He is the central target of this con.
Twilight Sparkle: I knew that; this was my idea! But you didn’t say he was directly related to the Princesses! You didn’t say “nephew!”
DM: I’m definitely sure… that I probably said “distantly related.” Like, stacking on about 54 “greats” before “grandnephew, twice-removed.”
Applejack: Ohhhhh. So basically he went, “Hey, I just traced my lineage back to Celestia. Make me a Prince.”
DM: Many generations ago, yes, that’s pretty much how the Blueblood house was founded.
Applejack: Sounds like a jerk. You sure you wanna be married to this guy for the rest of your life?
Rarity: Beggars… choosers… etcetera, etcetera.
Rainbow Dash: He’s also not REAL, so, y’know, there’s that.
