Civility painting ref
by PinkieTane

Well, I need to decide on the Cutie Mark, but otherwise this is my first colored drawing of Civility and also my first digital painting. It was fun as heck! I always wanted to paint and I finally have done it. Also, I know I may draw that generic horse standing pose too much (and did it twice in a row… whoops) but… What can I say. There is no excuse for my laziness

Civility is a very persuasive and well, civil pony. He may appear to be sort of a normal person, and he isn’t particularly eccentric - it’s just that his house is absolutely covered in incense and it becomes obvious that he is perhaps a little into drugs. Or perhaps, into the aesthetic. No one has ever actually seen him ever use drugs, besides the occasional cigarette, much less ever be anything but incredibly sober. It is possible to be a sober hippie? I have a feeling that is an oxymoron.

ANYWAYS he mostly does odd jobs. For a year he was a baker, then he moved on to cooking in general, then he decided he didn’t like culinary and wanted to be an artist, then a sculptor. It went on from there. You can imagine that, due to a lack of a stable job, he is rather limited when it comes to money. He probably wouldn’t have so much financial problems if he got rid of the overwhelming amount of incense in his house, but what can you really do. Apparently, the difficulty in getting a conventional, profitable job in a family problem. Facade has it too, and has similar problems.

His real talent involves divination, which he does on the side. Actually, thinking of giving him the old… Pyramid Illuminati Cutie Mark, just for the humor of it. Basically, he puts on a show and tells ponies that he can predict the future, and he gets some money that way.
