Now isn’t that the best question?

One day I drew this big-eared Twilight, kinda making fun of myself.

I took a long break from the Internet, and when I came back I said to myself, “I should have a new style.” I remembered that big eared Twi, and on a total, complete, utter whim I decided that was it. That’s my new style. I had drawn impossibly large ears before, but now I wanted to turn it up to eleven and refine it. And the rest is history. Those giant, stupid ears are how people started to remember me. I stuck out in their mind because of those ears. Now I’m a known name. People mention me online when they see giant ears of any kind. I get people walking up to me at conventions all like “Ear guy!” It’s fantastic. And it all happened on a whim.

Honestly I think the best things I ever did in life, I did on a whim.
