Page 313 - Catch of the Day

It occurs to me that July 28th is coming up soon - Friendship is Dragons’ second birthday. I’m not sure if I want to make any special celebration piece or not. As fun (and excruciating) as the 300th page video was, I’m kind of in a “I have enough on my plate” mood as of this writing.

I do have one idea, though. Some kind of meetup thing. I live in Redmond, which is near Seattle, and there’s a gameshop in town. And July 28th is a Sunday. It would work if there were people interested in celebrating a pony RPG comic’s birthday.

DM: Alright, so if the jewel is just dangling there… Quick question: Who’s holding onto the fishing rod? Anyone? Did anyone decide that they were holding it?
Rainbow Dash: Zzz- Bwu-huh? What… We still waiting?
DM: Then it looks like Spike’s holding the rod.
Spike: W-Woah!
DM: Something yanks hard on the gem, dragging Spike into the hole.
Applejack: Ah grab Spike and pull!
DM: Roll Athletics.
Applejack: Okay… <roll> 15?
DM: <roll> You grab on, but whatever’s on the other end is stronger. You’re getting dragged, too.
Applejack: A little help would be nice right about now!
