Anyway, enough ego boosting. Let’s start the second year off with some serious storytelling. In the comments, tell a story about being in a bad situation but finding a way to turn it in your favor.

Twilight Sparkle: This isn’t the time to be getting cold feet… er, hooves…
Pinkie Pie: C’mon, girl! You know we’ve got your back!
Rarity: Darling, please. Your social skills are still quite high. What does one little feat matter?
Fluttershy: But it’s not JUST that! My defenses are low… my dice are rolling badly… I’m slowing down the party… I’ve been knocked prone every time… I got the wrong kind of armor… and I already tried using Diplomacy on the drakes!
Rainbow Dash: What.
DM: Well, if the cat’s outta the bag… Fluttershy didn’t really attack during the fight. She used Diplomacy over and over again until the drakes finally stopped.
Rarity: And what were YOU doing during all this?
Applejack: Getting’ mah apple-spotted butt kicked. What else?
