Page 100 - To Be Continued

The timing couldn’t be better. The 100th page of the comic, as well as the end of Friendship is Dragons’ coverage of Episode Two! It’s been an amazing ride up to this point, and all of your support and contributions have made it possible for this webcomic to keep going.

With that said, I’m going to be going on a sabbatical for a few weeks. I’ve been cranking out comics since… late July of last year. I need time to rest, so I won’t be making new comics for a while.

But don’t fret! You won’t be lacking for content in the coming weeks. The creator of the webcomic One Piece Grand Line 3 Point 5 has provided a nine-page guest arc that throws his cast into the pony setting. It’s highly entertaining stuff, so keep checking each update!

Plans are tentative at the moment, but it’s likely it won’t be convenient to return to comic production until the start of May. If that’s the case, I’ll need a few more guest pages through the end of April. Then the comic will return to its regular run.

In any case, when Friendship is Dragons returns, next up will be… Dragonshy! Look forward to it!

DM: Really? You actually want to keep playing my little pony game?
Twilight Sparkle: Well, yes. We can do that, right?
Applejack: Of course we can do that. DM can make somethin’ up on the fly.
DM: Uh… Okay then. Let me think…

Princess Celestia: Spike, take a note, please. I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle will take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings… from her new home in Ponyville!
Rarity: Perfect! Now we’re all together for our new adventures!
Pinkie Pie: I can already tell they’re gonna be the best adventures EVER!
DM: Oh, no pressure then.
Rainbow Dash: And… that’s it? Session over?
DM: Yep. See you all next-
Rainbow Dash: Alright! Let’s talk XP.
DM: What.
Rainbow Dash: Tell us, how much was Nightmare Moon worth? If she was your campaign boss, probably a lot. Like, enough to go up multiple levels.
DM: …Haven’t you done enough without becoming MORE powerful? Besides, you know I don’t do XP-per-monster.
Applejack: Yeah, but she was part of a high-level quest. You reward Experience for those still, don’tcha? And knowing you, I bet you had the exact number written down.
DM: Nnnnngh…
DM: <rustle> <rustle> <rustle> <rustle>
DM: <sigh> Congratulations. You all jump up to Level 6.
Rainbow Dash: Freaking sweet!
Applejack: Ain’t that somethin’.
Rarity: Simply marvelous.
Fluttershy: Five levels?! That’s… amazing!
Twilight Sparkle: Wow. Thank you.

DM: Next week’s session just got much more interesting…
