I had a problem of doing very detailed lineart. And since i go for a semi-realistic lineless look, that became a problem later when i started to remove the lineart. It left gaps and made manipulating the image difficult and annoying. So i thought what if i just put a couple of minutes into the lineart, then jump into painting. Let me tell you, it was like a huge eureka moment. I moved so quickly through this image, altering stuff was a breeze. I had a great time painting this, instead of being annoyed and ending up abandoning images like i usually do. I’m happy with it, so i thought i’d show it.
Onto the pic. I think of her like a phoenix with the ability to manipulate fire. Plus, to those that read my comic. Her abilities will be explored if i continue the story after i complete the last couple of pages. I intend on making her a bit of a bad ass with fire abilities.
Her outfit was a pain .
Great learning experience nonetheless.
I’m stepping up my portrait game.
Anyway, enjoy.
Peace.”
