Here we drew inspiration from the ‘Discord Timeline’ seen in the S5 finale where, in a series of alternate timelines Twilight visits, one includes an out of control Discord ruling over Equestria. In that shot, we see Discord has made Celestia/Luna his own personal source of entertainment, reducing the powerful heralds of the day and night into colorful, silly clowns fit for his amusement. Despite all the power of the heavens at their command, and their best efforts at containing the insane spirit of chaos from turning all Equestria upside down, the two Princesses are all but powerless as with a mere snap Discord changes their regal clothing into ridiculous tutus and patchy overalls, reducing the rulers of Equestria to his new playful jesters. Though, he seems to willing to at least let the degraded royals keep their crowns, though perhaps only to make it clear to their subjects who these would-be saviors are.
 
Celestia in particular seems caught off-guard by the sudden change into her frilly wardrobe, and Luna looks understandably annoyed at the trickster for his antics (while also wondering if anyone else feels a draft in here). Perhaps even worse than to be imprisoned by your foe is to be thought of so lowly that he turns you into a gigantic joke, and Discord has plenty of utterly humiliating plans in store for the two royal sisters to provide him with PLENTY of laughs ahead as punishment for their adorable uprising…
