Windy Whistles: *waits outside of Flight School* Such a nice day today.
Rainbow Dash: *spots her and runs up to her* Mom, mom!
Windy Whistles: Oh hello there honey *picks up filly and kisses her all over*
Rainbow Dash: Moooom! Nooooo…
Windy Whistles: I just miss you so much sweetie *puts her down*
Rainbow Dash: *rolls eyes* Guess what I did today!
Windy Whistles: Oh? What did you do?
Rainbow Dash: We had a contest!
Windy Whistles: Aww! I bet you won, huh?
Rainbow Dash: ..nuh uh. *shows a plain badge*
Windy Whistles: Aww.. My little sugar blossom won participant award!
Rainbow Dash: Mooom…. it’s not an award. It’s what they give out to losers to make them feel better.
Windy Whistles: Yes, but you’ve earned the best reward you could ever have.
Rainbow Dash: *perks up curiously* What’s that?
Windy Whistles: *ruffles Rainbow’s hair* You’ve got the courage to fail.
There was a time when we had(or still have) a mother/mother figure in our lives that we’d think the world of.
We grew up, bonds grew loose, and memories are the things that held us all together.
Words they say to make us feel like the most special human being in the world may not hold meaning anymore, but they used did. They used to. Those words played a part in getting where we are now.
Love your mothers, and let them know that - no matter where they are now :)
