Careful you might get burned, it’s Spitfire!
 
Between the complex cutie mark, non-mirrored eyes and the design of her mane and tail, Spitfire was a lot more work than I had originally expected. I love the way the different shades of orange minky shine in the light!
 
She looks even better in person - I can’t wait to bring her with to the next pony con I attend!
 
She is made with soft minky fabric and stuffed with polyester fill. All details, including eyes and cutie mark are appliqued on - no embroidery here! All hand sewn areas (mane, tail, wings, neck and ears) are double reinforced as traveling to cons can be rough on a big handmade plush like this. Spitfire measures 30 inches from hoof to hoof.
 
Spitfire took about 45 hours to make.
 
This will be the last pony I make with my v2 pattern. While working on this plush, I have been crafting further improvements and modification to the pattern. Subtle changes to the body and significant changes to the head and wings are coming soon.
