The evening had been perfect. She and Fancy had spent the entire day uptown, going to art galleries and much to Rarity’s surprise “Pony of the Opera” at the theatre. They were walking through the Canterlot Gardens towards her room.
Fancy had been unusually quiet, it was a seemingly calm silence with a sad undertone. After all it was her last night in Canterlot, Rarity nuzzled Fancy’s back, the lateness of the night getting to her.
“Tired my dear?” he asked with a chuckle
“Yesoh Fancy today has been simply MARVELOUS!” Rarity gushed with a sigh “I just-wish this night would never end!”Marry me?”
Suddenly Fancy Pants stopped, Rarity paused “Fancy?” she asked
