Here is the third picture for my Month of Lurve 2016. Things have gotten a bit more spicy, but come now, romance has it’s naughty side too. I was hard pressed to pick a pony for this picture. I hope to have all the mane 6 showcased on my page sooner or later, both Pinkie Pie and Twilight the only remaining ones. Still, I wanted to do something a bit more “head cannony” We all know how bubbly and happy Pinkie Pie is and if Romance should ever come her way it will be something simply too adorable not to need a shot for. Some have portrayed Pinkie as seductress before, the party girl of the modern times that could frisky with the right drink and music. I think that would be great if I hadn’t been introduced to her other half. Pinkamena Diane Pie has more often been given the role of psychotic killer and while entertaining, I don’t agree with it. Don’t get me wrong though, I love the concept but only when it’s done well. I’m more partial to the alter ego concept, where Pinkamena is simply Pinkie’s darker side, more prone to sadness and anger, but not strictly violent. The side of Pinkie that I’ve seen people write as her inner voice. My favorite to this day is “What Pinkie Wants.” by Mannulus on FiMfiction. It’s short but well written and gives a look at how Pinkie can be her own worst enemy. It’s this side of Pinkie that helps me love the little bundle of pink energy all the more. So how would Pinkie Pie handle giving more than just a tease for this holiday? Well, I think she’d let Pinkamena take over. Letting her alter ego step forward and take care of the more physical aspects of romance. So this pic is for her cause even the dark side needs love.
