While Mable Mane might feel uneasy about expressing her feelings for Ahuizotl, her alternate persona Mane-iac has no qualms. In fact she seems quite eager to tell the inter-dimensional outcast how she and Mable feel about him.
 

 
This is another one of my art experiments. In addition to experimenting with light, shadows and shading, I wanted to try having Mane-iac wearing something that ISN’T purple, so I thought the jailbird themed stockings would work. Also tried drawing Ahuizotl without most of his Aztec themed accessories. I also decided to try giving him more of a dog like snout (based off of his original myth).
 
In the future I might try to do an illustration having Ahuizotl wearing more modern/punk themed clothing to match the Maretropolis setting. Perhaps a sleeveless trench coat.
