Here’s to a pony who touched our hearts and brought us smiles when things were dark, brought us strength when things are hard, brought us hugs when we were lonely, and muffins when we- well all the time, really.  
Derpy, even being a character who has found life and character mostly through the fandom, is a strong and inspirational character whom I honestly love so, so dearly, as many do!
 
She is such a fascinating concept, and such an incredible, lovable, silly and fun, caring and warm pony with big beautiful eyes filled with love and compassion.
 
I love you, Derpy, we all love you.
