And our journey through the other nations of Equestria continues, this time through Čina, where, in a garden just outside the imperial place, the Tianping Emperor (birth name: Sun Shānyáng) meets the second of Equestria’s “Nuširshahs” (mortal shahs, in contrast to the immortal shahs, Luna and Celestia), Ardašir Sasanzad, in all likelihood, to discuss why one of his subjects decided to carve his own domain out of Equestrian territory and he did nothing to stop him. ¹
 
The social structure of the deer is patriarchal as opposed to the equine matriarchal structure, which reflects on their rulers - where the Equestrians have had only three male regnant shahs since the Haxamanian era, the Činigs only have had one regnant empress in the same time period.

Aspen’s mianfu mostly based in this image, but for simplicity, i went for a design closer to Song and Tang paintings of imperial robes rather than late Ming. and of course, no imperial crown - there’d be no way it’d fit with these antlers in the way.
