This is number two of a seven-part series commissioned by someone over on Deviant Art, based on the “purse meme” going around awhile ago. All purses and outfits are designed by me, with a lot of help and inspiration from Our Grand High Ruler, Google.
 
Here we have Sunset Shimmer, and the contents of her purse. Both purse and outfit were designed by Rarity. Everything else was already Sunset Shimmer’s stuff. Unlike Rarity, I think Sunset Shimmer would rather travel (relatively) light. (FYI- Sunset has some manner of tropical smoothie in her hand ) . I almost put a handheld game in there, too, but I didn’t think it would fit in her purse with the journal. Between the two she’d opt for the journal, no question.

Magic journal- One of the reasons she travels sort of light; this thing takes up a LOT of space. Granted, she never goes anywhere without it.
 
Hair clip
 
Cinnamon-flavored breath mints- My headcanon is that she loves cinnamon-flavored stuff.
 
Purse- silk embroidered, sturdy inner lining (because of the journal ) , onyx stone clasp.
 
Tissues
 
Sparkly lip-gloss- I always thought of Sunset as being equal parts girly and edgy. She doesn’t normally wear makeup, but likes a little lip-gloss.
 
Heavy-duty oil-controlling face-wipes- Another headcanon; Sunset has really oily skin and has to wipe it down at least twice a day to prevent break-outs.
 
Eye drops- because she also has a little trouble with dry-eye.
 
Nail polish- a gift from Rarity. Sunset likes to have her nails done sometimes, but she’d rather have Rarity paint them.
 
Easter-lily-scented hand lotion
 
Phone and earbuds- Sunset is in the middle of a conversation with Fluttershy (not sure what about- have fun speculating! )
 
Phone charger- just in case!
