Emerald decides to go towards the walls of the encampment and try to find Joyride. He did remember her saying something about that being the place she’d pitch her house.
 
As the pair walk Emerald asks if Ruby thinks they did the right thing.
 
“I dunno. I guess? Hopefully they’ll find those two Order guys you mentioned.” Ruby says with a shrug.
 
The pair go back towards the entrance they came from, and avoiding the gate, they walk towards the wall on the outskirts. Most of the refugee tents are centered around the large building, so there are very few dwellings here.
 
Other than the fence and some small patches of tall grass there is very little in the places to hide, and after walking several minutes along the outskirts they see no trace of Joyride’s house.
 
Emerald does however come along to a stream running through the compound. The colt sees an old, slightly leaky bucket nearby and Emerald gets an idea. He takes off his pack and hands Ruby his bandanna and jumps in the stream, cleaning himself.
 
After dousing his head a few times with the bucket he hears Ruby asks,
 
“So what now?”
