It was decided that Pinkie would carry their foal; it was her idea after all. Twilight spent a few days modifying (and of course checking and rechecking) the foal spell to fit their unique situation; it would select DNA from one of them at random to combine with Pinkie’s. Mostly because nopony wanted to insist that it be their DNA, as they’d love their foal just the same, but also because Pinkie said it would be just the absolute best surprise.
 
With butterflies in their tummies, the six ponies gathered at Twilight’s castle. Spike was there of course; he’d become like a little brother to all of them. Twilight, in her excitement, had invited Starlight without consulting anypony else, and thus couldn’t very well turn Discord away when he showed up with Fluttershy. “Well, we were having tea, and I was so excited … it just slipped out,” she offered sheepishly. He seemed to think he was obligated to be there; yawing and inspecting his claws while the ponies (and Spike) could barely contain their excitement.
 
Everything went smoothly, and the ponies went back to their daily lives, patiently (for the most part) waiting for their bundle of joy. Twilight insisted on regular doctor visits and read up a bit on pregnancies, so she could do her own inspections. It was during one of these amateur inspections that Discord’s actual reason for attending was made clear.
 
Having felt a little … off since the day of the “conception,” the realization hit Fluttershy and Applejack before Rarity and Rainbow Dash even finished saying the word. Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity raced to Twilight’s castle (the latter dragging a stunned Fluttershy behind her).
 
Discord was summoned and could barely contain his laughter as Applejack told him off; she had work to do, galdernit, hard farm work! He was, however, a bit more solemn after Fluttershy snapped out of it and gave him her own lecture. She works with dangerous animals every day! There was a reason they chose Pinkie Pie! After he apologized (he didn’t know which of them his magic would affect, honest), and everypony had the chance to calm down, they all began a very serious discussion; should the spell be reversed? It was definitely more complicated to reverse a spell than it was to cast it, and the pregnancies were already a ways along, but it was certainly possible. Fluttershy and Applejack were assured that no one would judge them for their choices; they didn’t ask for this, after all.
 
Applejack sighed heavily, “well … Big Mac n’ Applebloom ‘ve handled the farm without me before, n’ they c’n do it again. Might give me a chance t’ catch up on some other things ah’ve been wantin’ t’ do. Besides,” she paused, “Ah’ve uh … already grown attached t’ the little thing” Applejack blushed lightly, and Fluttershy nodded, agreeing.
 
“I’ll have Dr. Fauna and Discord help me with my harder cases.” She said, smiling in satisfaction at the horrified look on Discord’s face.
 
Three foals might be a lot more trouble than just one, but the ponies were sure that it would be a whole lot more fun as well. The more the merrier after all!

So! What to expect when you’re now, unexpectedly, expecting more than you were expecting! Since this one is a comic, I couldn’t bring myself to be as perfectionist about it as the first one, but I hope it looks okay anyway (as always, download for better quality)!
