This picture took me longer than I’d like to admit, like a month and a half, but that’s because I’ve ben alternating between school, finding another job, and dealing with my own lack of drive from not having an audience to bolster my motivation.
 
This drawing is a cover picture that I made in response to the 14, yes 14, bronies who I tried to commission but ended up either not wanting to do it, didn’t do commissions, or just flat out ignored my request without even giving me the courtesy of a rejection; they just fucking ignored me. They blanked me, mate. Eventually somepony agreed to pick up the picture but he was doing everything wrong (i.e taking creative liberties on a very specific scene, drawing extra things, not drawing things, drawing different character expressions, and it was just a mess), so I paid for the sketches he did and decided “fuck it, I’ll just do it myself”.
 
I’m going to be giving this to AssasinMonkey later for him to do a complete visual overhaul, but for now this is going to be the cover for my mlp novel: Our Day in Disdain. I recommend you giving it a read, even if you don’t like fanfiction. I’ve devoted a lot of time and effort to this project so I think it’s on the good side of the quality bell-curve.
