Canterlot was light up, a small party was set up in the castle courtyard. It was to congratulate the elements and Wonderbolts on saving foals from extreme injuries. One stallion was away from the party, thinking about a certain mare.
 
‘Why did she have to do that with her mane, and why do I have to feel this!!’ Soarin thought, floating on a cloud.
 
“Hey! Why are you out here?” A voice that he knew very well. It belonged to Rainbow Dash. Her mane had been done up to look like it does when she is crystallized.
 
“Just thinking, I needed to get away from the party.”
 
“Are you not happy with saving the foals?”
 
“No no! I’m ecstatic that they are all safe! I just got a lot on my mind.” He replied quickly. He take in her headband, which was the same shade as his mane. Her bead clip on her side part had his cutiemark on it.
 
“That’s great!!” She noticed his staring and blushed.
 
“Dash, is that my cutiemark on your clip?”
 
“Uh, nooo……… Yes.” She was blushing so much that her face was beet red. “Rarity made it, saying it would be cute. I can take it off!’ She takes it out and smile timidly at him.
 
“It looks good on you” He said grinning. He flew over and put it back in her mane. “You look beautiful tonight”
 
“Thank you” She said, giving his cheek a kiss.
 
“Rainbow, would you let me take you to dinner?”
 
“Uh, yeah, sure. I guess.” She squeaked out, trying, and failing, to sound nonchalant. They spent the rest of the night cuddling on the cloud.
