Managed a quick sketch despite the heat, and I wanted to reintroduce something that only ever showed up in one image four years ago.
 
The gloves Widjet is wearing are enchanted, any pony that puts them on will have their forelegs temporarily changed into arms, and be granted hands. Widjet uses them when magic isn’t an option, such as situations where magical fields are already present and interference is risky. He refers to them as “Handy Gloves”, because he’s a dork.
 
They where originally developed by the royal mages, and during experimentation with them it was found wearing them for extended periods isn’t advisable. They have a tendency to start to fuse to the arms after a period of time, for a still unknown reason, which could make them impossible to remove eventually.
 
As a result they are only issued to specific members of the castle staff, and every use is to be documented and timed to last no longer than an hour.
 
On a side note, standing upright like that Widjet ends up just over eight feet tall.
