“This is the 7th of my series designing dresses for ponies with a flower theme. Finished with the mane six, this time I picked the flowers based on the flora’s meaning closest to the main aspects of their personalities, with keeping what colors suited each pony best in mind.
 
Luna is the immortal princess of the moon, so Luna’s dress is based on the Moonflower. In the language of flowers Moonflowers mean mysteries of intuition, delicate femininity, and dreams of love, which suit the princess well.
 
And for the first time, this is a duet picture with Princess Celestia!
 
Celestia is the immortal princess of the sun, so since I used the sunflower for Rainbow Dash, Celestia’s dress is based on the Dahlia. In the language of flowers Dahlias mean dignity, elegance, inner strength, creativity and forever thine, all things that suit the Princess.
