My Little Pony: Friendship is losing your temper…

I have to admit, this comic is pretty heinous, not exactly one of my best as it was only inspired by listening to Evil Woman by ELO, not really a song that has much to do with this situation, but oh well.

Basic premise, the one time your car doesn’t want to work is when you need it the most, we’ve all had that situation, and we’ve all gone through the whole Count to 10 routine with ourselves, only to break down into a temperamental rage anyway and resort to the Basil Fawlty maneuver of beating our cars with the branch of a tree. :P

The truck depicted here is a 1987 Ford F-350 Mark VIII which was built between 1986 and 1991 and was probably one of the most popular pickup trucks ever to hit the US market. It was so popular in fact that a friend of mine bought two and shipped them over here to the UK to work on his farm, only to find that within a year they had suffered from the Ford Fever and broken, with one putting a leg out of bed (a term which means the engine con-rod breaks out of the engine) whilst the other sheered an axle. I seem to recall one ended up being stripped for spares to keep a Ford F-150 alive, whilst the other became a home for chickens at the bottom of his field.

Since it’s autumn, I’ve also decided to get with the season and start to make changes to the setting. The trees are now orange, the sky is paler with a slightly colder tint of blue and, most prominently, I’ve given Applejack a roll-neck jumper, making a change from her usual set of collared shirts. :)

On a side note, Sweetie Belle’s shirt says “Sweet Thing” on it, and has random gratuitous pictures of sweets and candy scattered over it. :)
