Especially since show staff can easily lose their jobs if they go against the line of SJWs, even if they actually disagree with it.
 
That said, ciaran is a retarded (btw, what is the disorder for “delusional in a way of taking his first impression and stubbornly and permanently refusing to reconsider it”? turbo autism?) ape for trying to threaten people with bans if they disagree on whether lyrabon is a thing. There are actual arguments, like yours (and the whole “wedding ring proposal” thing), if someone claims lyrabon’s not canon; going straight to UNGA BUNGA ME MODERATOR ME SMACK YOU IF YOU SAY WRONG THING invalidates the dialogue in the first place.

Also, there’s a difference between “word of god” and actually shown.  
One is weaker canon than the other, e.g. “Lil Cheese was meant to be a colt but we accidentally a filly so I guess he a femboy now” vs

Well, if you want to talk about inconsistency, remember that the staff will mock, provoke, threaten and ban whoever they don’t like under the excuse that the other guy was a troll, but at the same time will just enable any kind of bad behavior from users who are their pets or toadies and whoever tried to report or complain about the other guy’s bad behavior used to be punished for abusing the report system or what you have.
 
Anyone who visted derpibooru can remember a handful of repugnant users who only visited the place to derail treads, attack and annoy others, and basically behave like animals at their heart’s content, yet other users would be banned on signt for things that couldn’t amount to even a fraction of what the other guys did.
 
Case in point, this guy purposely targeted threads discussing Derpi’s shady behavior and he openly admited he was trolling everyone, yet he was never as much scolded by the staff and in fact, they even allowed him to spam the board to play victim after the backlash hurt his feelinsg or what you have.  
 
 

 
In fact, during one of his trolling sprees Raptorshy was visiting /mlp/ to play her nice girl act and when this issue was brought to her attention, she deliberately stalled the reports and openly refused to take any action until she made everyone so angry that she couldn’t keep playing dumb anymore and eventually went and deleted ONE of the troll posts.  
To make things worse, she got mad with /mlp/ because they kept asking her to do her duty and didn’t let her weasel her way out from it.

Don’t forget Joshua, who can stay in a thread for months nonstop to troll, provoke and derail every user or opinion he dislikes until either everyone leave or give up and agree with him just to get him to shut up.  
He completely ruined the FiM movie discussion thread by attacking every negative opinion in the most annoying way he could think, and according to some Equestria Daily caps shared on /mlp/ the guy behaves like a complete animal there, and yet nobody has ever asked him to stop, in fact he’s considered a positive member.
 
He’s autistic just like Mr Xemnass and other atrocious derpi members, but even knowing that it’s impossible to not think of him as a complete animal that serves absolutely no other purpose but derail threads and piss off people who has opinions and stances that the local staff do not want to become popular.

Let’s review:  
The first image they state the reason for why spoiler images exist as they are–to give an watered down example of what they’re hiding, for which they used an image of Lyra&BonBon, a commonly accepted and known couple.
 
They stated the reason for not changing it:  
People who don’t support the ship will just rationalize it as not being a ship.
 
They did not say anything about whether you were allowed to argue about it nor not. They were simply stating facts.
 
In the second image they are responding to people who complain about images tagged as lesbian, and have clearly stated why the images in question are tagged as lesbian.
 
And finally they stated that derpibooru does not condone people expressing homophobic views, which based on his tone, you (Zeknel) probably were.

The tl;dr of what they’ve basically said is:
 
#1: The spoiler image won’t change because the image is serving the intended purpose  
#2: Whether or not you think LyraBon is lesbian ship doesn’t matter because most people accept it as one that is valid.  
#3: People who bitch and whine selfishly about tags that are set by staff and based on information confirmed by the show’s staff (in this case considered canon because if they weren’t limited by rating, those characters would be all over each other) shouldn’t bitch and whine.

In this screenshot, you can quite literally see the site owner saying that a user who, for nothing besides maliciously trying to cause discomfort to others, spent months spamming the site with death threats, real life human gore and real life child pornography, could be unbanned if he just apologized.
 
But when I apologized for saying that two cartoon horses are not lesbians, I got yelled at.
 
Essentially, this means that saying that two cartoon horses are not lesbians is more important to the staff than not hosting real life child pornography tagged as SFW.
 

 
 
Even if I do not always do a good job at conveying it, I try to let people have whatever opinion of me that they feel they should, but if you really think that because I argued that two cartoon horses are not lesbians, I am worse than a user maliciously spamming you with death threats, real life human gore and real life child pornography, I think you might want to reevaluate what is most important to you.
